Defiance 2.10 (SPOILERS!)

Although we had double episodes this week, James Murray only appeared in episode 2.10. But what an episode it was!


Ambassador Tennety visits Defiance again and Niles and Amanda are really pleased
to see her (not).


Niles looks very sharp in his E-rep costume and his tongue is even sharper towards the
ambassador.


They take a tour through the mines, but....

the mine collapses, killing the ambassaor, so Niles and Amanda conveniently are stuck
together.


Niles once again says that he's a monster, but Amanda loves a bad boy (don't we all?)
He asks Amanda to kill him, so she'd have a bit more time and oxygen.



And...


And...

They kiss!!!! (somebody on Twitter shipped them as Pottwater *g*).


Poor Potty is so out of air after that kiss that he needs oxygen, whilst being rescued by Nolan et al.


After the rescue Niles assures Amanda that what he said in the mine was true.


He's showing his vulnerability in public. Even Nolan notices.

Squee! I wonder what's in store for next week's double finale.
In the trailer we only see a blurred scene with Niles getting thrown to the ground.

I'm having my fingers crossed the DVD comes out in Germany soon, because they're airing the series at the same time as the US.

Edit: I checked Amazon. In Germany the DVD comes out on November 6.
In the US on September 23.

Loved the episode, I was worried he would do something terribly mean or twisted, but he didn't and he survived! I'm crossing my fingers for next week though O_O

Sounds like he got some great lines. And ooo, sounds like he was noble in the mines!

Well, he's been after that kiss for ages and expended a lot of devious effort for it, so no wonder he swooned ;) Vulnerable Niles, yay!

So he wasn't in all of the eps this season - at least that would have given him some family time at home.

I must watch the behind the scenes (if I can't play it, I'll ask you what they said *G*)

LOL at the hat. It doesn't look bad, but I'm glad Amanda was the one still wearing it after the mine collapsed. *g*

Even though he wasn't in all the eps, I'm chuffed he was in so many scenes. There are so many main characters in the series. I have a feeling that, for example, Rafe and Datak didn't get as much scenes as Niles did.
