Defiance 2.09 (SPOILERS!)
Potty's back!
And the plot thickens even more.
On his way back to Defiance for more plotting and scheming.
Having an intense talk with Doc Yewll about the return of Kenya Rosewater.
They talk about wiping her memory?! Pottinger asks the Doc if that bothers her.
She answers she's done worse. Eek.
Pottinger visits Amanda at the NeedWant. He wants to meet Kenya, but she's resting
The "treatment" to "get her memory back" didn't work and he offers to send her to a clinic in New York.
It even gets more creepy. In a flashback memory of Kenya the Doc and Potty stare at a tank.
It contains an Indogene "with an incredible resemblance" (we don't get to see it).
It turns out "Kenya" is a changed Indogene, with Amanda's memories, taken from her
a few episodes back! *gasp*
"Kenya" finds out who she is and threatens Doc Yewll, but then....
James Bond, I mean Pottinger, comes to the rescue.
Kenya manages to escape, though.
Once again Pottinger's plotting and scheming backfires.
And I'm so looking forward to next week's episode, hoping there will be a lot of hurt/comfort!
Amanda and Pottinger will be trapped in a mine. Squee!
I desperately hope, though, that that will not be the end of Niles Pottinger!
I'm clinging on to Jaime Murray's tweet during last night's live watch:
"My new nick name for @TheJimMurray "monkey boy" perfect. Can't wait for #Defiance season 3
so I can torture him."

Did he enjoy his trip? Did his higher ups let him come back?
He's still being a naughty boy. And from tweets it sounds like Niles doesn't have Stephen's accuracy with guns.
JM was present in Jesse R's video clip of the table reading of the Second season finale, so that and Jaime's tweet are hopeful! And if you have a good villain, you don't want to get rid of him too quickly...

Ooh, I can't remember Jesse's video, but yes, Pottinger is a huge part of the storyline now. Let's keep it that way!

Maybe it's just me, that I'm not romantic/obsesive/stalker enough, but it looked like a damn complicated plan to just get Amanda into his bed. My first thought was that he might want to 'clone' somebody he really missed and that he needed to make some experiments first.

I have a feeling we'll learn more about Potty's feelings and intentions towards Amanda in next ep, when they get trapped in the mine. I think he'll open up for real towards her.
