“Patrick, please!”

Danny’s hand was outstretched, reaching for his younger brother.

“My name is Ethan!”

“No, you are Patrick. My brother. I never stopped looking for you.”

“And what good did that do! I don’t need you. You’re dead to me.”

Ethan turned and went through the anomaly that closed immediately.

Danny sobbed uncontrollably.

He’d never felt so hopeless.

Then the anomaly opened again.

He was too numb to move.

A  figure came through.

“Ethan!”

“It’s Patrick. You’re right. I don’t want to be Ethan anymore.”

“It’s never too late. Let’s try to forget the pasts.”

“And be brothers again.”
