Having Connor as a flatmate had been a disaster.

Clothes everywhere, Sid and Nancy running around, the sound of the Playstation in the middle of the night.

But  when Danny Quinn moved in, Lester started missing the geeky wonderboy.

Because Danny could be a pain too.

The habit of eating bacon butties for breakfast in bed.

Watching cop shows on the telly at all hours.

Listening to country songs and not understanding the beauty of classical music.

But in bed the maverick ex-copper would turn into a passionate and generous lover.

That’s when Lester knew he undoubtedly loved this man.
