The train journey in Russia was awesome. It was in the last days of the Soviet Union. Moscow and Leningrad were beautiful!

Ooh, I don't think I knew you'd been to Russia. I would love to go to Moscow.

Who have you met that was famous?

Moscow is beautiful, especially the Red Square, but St. Petersburg is even more beautiful. A very friendly city with the wonderful Hermitage museum.

I've met the former US president Jimmy Carter in San Francisco, during the Democratic Convention there. He was staying in the hotel next to my hotel and we met on the street. We didn't really talk, with all the body guards, but he said hello. I had the same thing with Newt Gingrich, a former speaker of the US House of Representatives in Atlanta. He said hello and wished us a Merry Christmas.

Edit: Eek! I forgot! One of my former classmates is a Dutch celebrity. He writes comedies and presents TV-programmes (like Have I Got News For You).
