Just how stupid do you think we are, Conn? Space-time anomalies? Dinosaurs? It sounds like someone's been overdoing the Playstation."

"I can prove it. Only I'm not allowed. But one day I can say" I told you so.".

Tom and Duncan thought their friend had lost it.

"Now you can say "I told you so", Tom said, dying in Connor's arms. "The aliens tried to take me over. But I fought them."

"You did a really good job."

"Am I a hero?"

"Definitely, Tom."

"You are too, Conn, despite saying "I told you so." Save the world."

"I promise."

As much as I despised Tom and Duncan for the way they treated Connor, I really did tear up at that scene.

Indeed, Tom and Duncan didn't treat Connor very well, but nobody deserves to die lie this. Poor boys, bless them.
