Defiance 2.04 (SPOILERS!)

OH MY! *fans self* This was a brilliant episode Pottinger wise. Excuse me for the incoherent comments, but here are some very, very yummy screen caps:

Pottinger still looking smug, but that will change when his convoy is attacked and mining equipment is stolen.

He is threatened...

Forced to strip...

Schermafbeelding 2014-07-11 om 14.41.34
Yes, to strip (Graham Greene aka Rafe McCawley wondered on Twitter whether these were standard E-Rep boxers *g*)

And peed on.... (The Golden Shower according to Rob Archer aka Churchill)

After this scene my mind went totally blank.

Yes, I could do with a drink too.

After insulting Amanda ("You are my advisor in policy and not in security") Pottinger goes to the Need Want
to apologise. He tells Amanda about his youth at a boarding school in Devon. When he was 15 the
Votans attacked and locked them in a chapel for 11 days. He was held down and .... (fill in).

Pottinger and Nolan still don't get along very well.

Schermafbeelding 2014-07-11 om 14.49.27
We now actually see Amanda and Pottinger taking drugs. Amanda tells him about her bad
experiences. He asks why she does this. Because she wants him to know that he's not alone.
"That's the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me," he says. Awwww!

Finding out that it was Rafe McCawley's godson who attacked and raided them, Pottinger has a reason
to give Rafe an immediate eviction notice. Poor Rafe. Even killing his godson didn't save him from this.
So, Pottinger is back to being bad and ruthless again.

"He was held down and .... (fill in)"

You know? This story in Spanish is much more... vague, because it's more like this: "I cut my hands when I threw (myself) to the ground and I..." They don't say he WAS thrown down or that he was held down. Thanks to you there is no mistake about what he was trying to tell (if it was true or not, that's a different question, although he looked very sincere).

Again I don't need to say why I prefer watching shows in English ^_^

I prefer the original language over dubbed. The Germans are good at dubbing, but when I know how the original voice sounds like, I can't get used to the dubbing one.

He did look sincere. I hope he's not THAT evil that he's making it up to get closer to Amanda. I prefer him broken and deep down good, over being utterly evil.
