Defiance 2.03 (SPOILERS!)

As "promised" Defiance gets darker and darker. The focus of this episode was not on Niles Pottinger, although his scheming goes on.



Ah, that's why he needed Doc Jewll's finger: to open up the safe to get the journal.



Poor Bertie is missing and Nolan is searching for her.



Pottinger goes out for a stroll with Nolan...



... and being a direct man he tells Nolan he fancies Amanda.



Doc Jewll's gets her precious finger back, under one condition...



... he asks if she can do what the journal says.



Amanda is out of drugs and goes to Pottinger. He is more than happy to share.

For more scheming we'll have to wait until next episode, although it may backfire on him this time:

I was happy to see that he needed the finger for something, that he didn't just cut it for fun. Ahem.

Pottinger/Nolan scene was so funny, but Pottinger everlasting smile is quite creepy O_O

I really, really hope he survives this season!
